Volunteer Responsibilities:

• Be available for the market hours 9:00am - 12pm

• Booth setup (instructions and booth items will be provided)

• Sales and donation collection

• Booth tear down

If you can volunteer as a driver for one family, it’s a simple way to support connection and belonging. You’re also welcome to stay and enjoy the time at the park, as these gatherings are all about building relationships.

Looking for a meaningful and simple way to show love to our neighbours? Join us at the Community Cares Market—a free pop-up market where we share groceries and encouragement with individuals and families who could use a little extra support.

Volunteer Shifts:

• 3:00–5:00 PM – Help us prepare by sorting and setting up food.

• 5:00–7:00 PM – Welcome guests with a smile and help distribute groceries.

Whether you can come for one shift or stay for the whole evening, your presence matters. This is a beautiful opportunity to serve together, build relationships, and share God’s love in a very tangible way.

Gateway Church is honoured to once again support Parkview Public School’s Year-End Celebration, a tradition we’ve been part of for over 10 years! This event is a special way to support the staff and students of Parkview at the end of the school year.

This year, in addition to helping with the BBQ, we’ll also be handing out sno-cones and cotton candy to add some extra fun! We’re looking for volunteers to help with grilling, serving food, distributing treats, and assisting with setup and cleanup.

It’s a meaningful opportunity to bless our local school community. If you’re available to help, we’d love to have you join us!

Pond Fest is a cherished tradition in Hyde Park, known for its lively atmosphere and engaging activities. 

Join Gateway in helping make this day an exciting adventure for the Hyde Park and surrounding community.  As a volunteer you will help with various activities such as set up, tear down, vendor support , kids corner support and parking.

There are multiple shifts available, select as many as you’re comfortable with.  Volunteers must be high school age or older. High school students will be given credit towards their community hours. 

Clear out your closets and sheds!

Donate gently used clothing, gardening tools, outdoor play equipment, and books to the church by Wednesday, May 7th.

Bring the gently used clothing, snowsuits, mittens, boots, outdoor snow play equipment and books you are ready to part with to the main campus by Sunday, October 20 and join us Saturday, October 26 to find the gem you are looking for.

We are looking for winter clothing (kids to adults size), books, toboggans, snowsuits, boots, hats, mitts, ice skates etc.

We are looking for volunteers to help organize the items in the week leading up to the swap as well as volunteers to help keep items organized on the day of the swap. If you are interested in helping, please click the link below.
